Privately Owned Fleet

Reliability and Control in Every Mission.

Background

Phoenix Air Group, Inc. owns and operates a fleet of versatile multi-mission and multi-patient Lear and Gulfstream aircraft (12 Learjets and 12 Gulfstreams); therefore, we maintain control over all aspects of flight operations. All aircraft maintenance, including depot-level maintenance, is performed in-house by our full-time A&P licensed staff mechanics. Specialized avionics required for worldwide operations have been installed by our Part 145 Avionics Department and certificated for use. As a holder of multiple government contracts, we undergo frequent inspections which are coordinated by our maintenance Quality Assurance Department, ensuring compliance with all civil aviation authorities (FAA, ICAO, and EASA).

Vendor Aircraft Services
Background

Vendor Aircraft Services

Phoenix Air offers another unique service that allows your specialized team of caregivers to access our aircraft through a vendor-sharing program. This program enables our team of experienced pilots and logistics planners to handle the operational aspects of your patient transport, while our medical personnel or loadmasters accompany your clinical specialists to provide technical support specific to the aircraft. This on-demand service operates under our FAA Part 135 certification, ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance.

FAA Part 135 is a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certification that allows companies to operate non-scheduled air services, such as air charters and air taxi flights. At its core, FAA Part 135 is a certificate required by the Federal Aviation Administration for a company to operate as a non-scheduled air charter carrier. Part 135 is a section of the Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) that establishes safety policies and procedures for on-demand air services.
